What “honest” means here
Most analytics dashboards round, extrapolate and label machine traffic as visitors. c1k.me does none of that, and where it cannot measure something it says so in the interface instead of drawing a zero.
A click number is the count of redirects the service handled and successfully wrote down. Bots and email scanners are in there, because they really did hit the link. Nothing is silently filtered to make a chart look better.
Each day is labelled complete, uncertain, not retained or unavailable. If recording was interrupted, the dashboard says the true figure is at least this, not exactly this.
“No clicks recorded” and “not measured” are two different sentences in the UI and two different values in the API. You never have to guess which one you are reading.
Unique client counts come from a compact statistical sketch. Across a date range they are shown as a sum of daily estimates, never dressed up as distinct people.
The limits, before you pay
This is the whole product, priced in packs. One €5 pack is 10 members, 100 active links and 400 dormant slugs; stack as many packs as you need on one organization and every one of those numbers scales with the count. What does not scale is listed further down, and it is better to know that now than three months in.
Built for two kinds of user
A JSON API with no SDK to install, an OpenAPI 3.1 contract, a Postman collection, and a native remote MCP endpoint so an agent can create and retarget links without a local bridge process. Optimistic concurrency on every mutation, idempotency keys on every create, and error bodies that name the field and the constraint.
Ten people can share one workspace with four roles, a change feed showing who edited what, scheduled and password-protected links, QR codes for print, UTM building, and CSV import and export. The annual cost is less than a single coffee run, and if the team grows past ten, another €5 pack makes room for ten more.
Things this does not do
Listed here rather than discovered after payment.
Who runs this
c1k.me is a small, independently operated side venture, not a funded startup. That shapes the design in ways worth being upfront about. The service is deliberately narrow in scope, with no moving parts that need a team to babysit. Support is one person answering email at support@c1k.me, best effort, which is why the feature list is short and the limits are fixed.
The upside for you is that the price does not need to triple to satisfy an investor, and the product does not need to grow features you did not ask for. The trade-off is that there is no 24/7 phone support and no roadmap promises. If your links are business-critical at a scale this cannot serve, run something bigger.
Your data is exportable as CSV and JSON at any time, without asking, so leaving is always an option.
Common questions
No. A free tier means either advertising, data resale or a constant push to upgrade, and this product wants none of the three. €5 for a year is the trial.
Links keep resolving for 30 days after expiry so nothing breaks while you decide. Management is read-only in that window, and export stays available throughout. After that the organization is suspended and the links answer 410 Gone. The slugs are never given to anyone else.
Add another pack. Each one is €5 a year and raises the same organization's ceiling by 10 members, 100 active links and 400 dormant slugs, with the same analytics and the same support. There is no cap on the number of packs, no separate plan and no per-link overage. Each pack renews on its own anniversary; the button is on the billing page.
One subscription is one organization. Buy another for another venture; the pricing is the same each time and there is no volume discount to negotiate.
The MCP server is the service itself, reachable over HTTPS at a per-organization URL. There is no npm package to install, no local process to keep running, and no separate credential model. More on that here.
The honest answer is that nobody can promise that. What this service does instead is stay small enough to run cheaply and let you export everything at any moment. Treat the export as your insurance policy rather than taking a promise on faith.
The redirect path loads no fonts, no stylesheets and no scripts, and analytics writing never blocks it.
One pack is 10 members, 100 active links and 400 dormant slugs. Need more? Another €5 doubles it, as many times as you like. Each pack is €5 a year plus any VAT or sales tax that applies, sold through Link, Stripe's merchant of record service, which emails your receipt and invoice.
